I
le agaga o le ava ma le faaaloalo,
At
the Tautua Community Center in Pago Pago last Saturday evening, we
became convinced that the people of American Samoa favor our quest for
reelection as Governor and Lt. Governor.
We were honored and inspired by the attendance of the
traditional, political, and community leaders. It was thrilling to see friends and relatives, and especially
those who had been quiet supporters. You braved the rain and floods to
demonstrate your belief in our cause.
Your generous donations will move this campaign to a successful
conclusion.
We thank you most sincerely, and promise to return
the honor and trust you have shown us, by continuing to do the best we
can – as your leaders. We
also pray that the Lord replenishes to you, manifold, that which you
have contributed to our cause.
To High Chief Asuega, Senator High Orator-Chief
Tua’olo, and the Pago Pago Committee, we congratulate you for all
the preparations that made our campaign launch a most memorable event.
We are indebted to Utaifeau and Aumaga for keeping things
smooth and orderly, despite the inclement weather.
Chairman
Alaalamua, Vice Chairman Paogofie, and the Central Committee,
Sub-committees, District and Village Committees, and the Womens’
Committee – we say Thank You very, very much.
We are now launched. The
road before us is long and arduous.
But you have been through it before – and prevailed.
We know you can do it again!
As always, we cannot repay you for your hard work in the
pursuit of our goal, but we know that the feeling of having
contributed will bring you a deep sense of personal pride and
satisfaction.
With
respect and deep appreciation,
TOGIOLA T. A. TULAFONO
